How can you purposely make a baseball cap dirty?

Question:Weird question I know... But my favorite hats are ones that started out white and are now not so white. It generally takes me a year of continuous use to get a white hat how I want it. Any ideas on a good way to possibly speed up the process without destroying the hat?

Answers:
Well, lets consider what gives the hat that "aged" look. Dirt, sweat and oil. Try a combination of salt water, coffee and dirt, and maybe a little oil or leather condition in a bucket. Put the hat in there for however long you want it to set, the longer the better. Then let it sit in the sun for the colors to set and age. And if you want, bang it a couple of times with some rocks on a sidewalk. Beeeeee uuuu tiful!

play some baseball with it
Pour some dirt on it and the shake it off!!
i read that on the set of lost the wardrobe people are often seen outside, dragging the actors costumes through the parking lot to get them worn and dirty looking, like they have been worn for months at a time on an island. try that.
