I want to clean my deep fryer, How do I?
Question:I have a deep fryer that is only a couple of years old. I have cleaned it before but it took forever and was a b*tch. It is stainless steal. If you have cleaned your before and found a simple way of doing so PLEASE fill me in with your secrets! Thank you
Answers:
I use SOS pad on my stainless steel deep fryer with the hottest water I can stand and wash in regular dish water with soap.
pour some greease into it
and while its on
stick ur hand in it
and from the lotion and all that stuff u use on your hands will clean it
it will look just like new!
How dirty is it and how big is it? Tip the oil into another pot. Take it out to the garden (if you have one) so you don't get oil all over the kitchen. Use super hot water and a LOT of detergent to cut the grease. Use paint scraper or something similar to remove the sedement into the garbage and use it to scrape off any crud that has built up. Leave it to soak a while if there are stubborn bits. Keep rinsing and make sure it is bone dry before you put oil back in to avoid an accident.
i have one of those hose things on my sink so i just put some soap in the deep fryer and use a sponge to wash it. i then use the hose thing and spray inside the deep fryer. If you don't have a hose thing (don't know what its called) you can just use a bucket full of water or something as a substitute.
Pour out the old grease. Then just add dishsoap and hot water and perhaps a green scrubbie then rinse very well and then dry it and put it away!
If it is small enough to lift, pour the contents of old oil and debris into a five gallon bucket. Then use as hot of water and dish soap as you can stand to have your hands in. If it is not liftable, use an icecream bucket to scoop out the contents into a five gallon bucket. Have patients it will take time. I myself really don't know a speedy way of cleaning a deep fryer. The next thing is to put as hot of water that you can stand in there with some dish soap and scrub away to your heart's content. Rinse with hot water and dry with a towel. Yahoo baby you're done.
threw it and buy new one.
I would try vinegar and baking soda together. I use these two items on my pots and pans all the time for stubborn stains. Apple Cider vinegar is what I use all the time. I would use it straight and the add the baking soda. The baking soda will foam up when it combines with the vinegar. Let soak for a while maybe over night. To be honest with you I have never used a deep fryer but I use both these products on stainless steal all the time when cleaning houses or offices.
