Is there anyway to reduce foam when you wash clothes?


Question:When I wash clothes, I try very hard to get rid of foam. Either water is bad or the surf I use is not correct.
Does anybody know about any solution related to surf type or water purification?

there is a defoamer u can buy but i don't know the name of it.go to wal-mart you'll fiond it there just ask 4 help finding it once you get there


your water is soft.. which is good..
buy automatic washingmachine powder - much less foam
they way i was clothes i have very little foam. i fill the washer up, add soap,then clothes
Have you tried using detergents meant for HE washers? They are made specifically for high efficiency washers which does not like too much foam--because of the function--HE.
white vinegar maybe?
