Plz help immediately! stain carpet problem?
Question:i accidentally spilled a kind of hot cocoa drink on my living room carpet it is very noticable. the carpet is very rough like. how casn i get rid of it?!!? my parents get home in like 3 hrs help!

go rent a rug doctor! they're like 40 bucks. but if you're just a kid, try warm water and soap. i don't really know.
BAKING SODA AND VINEGAR>>> make it bubbly...or use seltzer
Blot up as much as you can with a towel -- don't rub it as it will set the stain and make it larger.
Next, boil some water and pour it on the stain and keep blotting it up. The hot water and the steam will help to lift the stain. Don't use bleach or any other cleaning agent as this will only make it soapy, sudsy and more difficult to clean, as well as making it extra dirty in the future.

Get Oxy Clean spray and spray it on the spot where you spilled Hot Cocoa and leave it for about 10 minutes or so and then just scrub off with a spunge and then dry with a towel.
pour water with a little dish soap in it onto the stain. use towels to sop up the water, (place a bit of scrubbing here) getting as much of the water along with the chocolate as possible. keep doing this until the spot is gone. then you will need to tell your parents why the carpet is wet in that one spot. like maybe (the dog "went" there)
I wouldn't use hot water on cocoa.that will set the stain for sure.
After you have blotted the stain, try rinsing and wiping what you can (you have probably already done this) and then look around for a red plastic bottle of Resolve or another spray rug cleaner in your mother's cleaning supplies under the sink.
If you don't have them, then use an oxygen product, like Oxygen and mix, then dip a washcloth or kitchen towel in the solution and lightly rub. It should pick up the stain fairly rapidly since it wouldn't have time to set. After it is clean, rinse and get your mother's hair dryer (on low to medium) to dry.
It sounds like time to rearrange the furniture!

THEN DISH LIQUID AND WATER...SCRUB AND RINSE
With cold water and a sponge , sponge the carpet, Then a little dish washing detergent , rub in with your fingers then sponge again with cold water. Work inwards from the stain ,this way you won´t spread the stain further. Once your sure the stain is out ,lay a towel with a heavy object on top. This will help soak up any remaining water from the underside of your carpet. I don´t think you need worry so much , accidents happen. They will find out sooner or later , as 100% the water mark will reach the surface, you will have to steam clean the carpet
