LG has a washer with 1300 and Samsung has one at 1300 as well. Your not going to get much of a difference between 1300 and 1400.
I don't know about Hotpoint other than I hate their ranges. But LG I believe is still highest ranked in consumer reports and Samsung is doing quite well also.

You will not go far wrong with a Hotpoint,had them for years,
ours is sixteen hundred spin at the moment.
I dont know specific models but I think when you are going with such a high spin it makes sense to spend some money and get quality.
I have always found that Bosch make excellent equipment so maybe you could have a look at their stuff. AEG are pretty good too from personal experience.
hotpoint or hoover are the best and in case of a break down in later years the parts are easy to get and a lot cheaper than most other models
