Black, white, and grey shirt , can I bleach it ?

Question:There's a stain right on the white part , but there is black and grey on the shirt too . If I bleach it , will it ruin the shirt ?

Answers:
Chante,

Clorox bleach is guaranteed to ruin the shirt. The bleach pens don't work except immediately after the stain.

I would buy some Oxyclean and mix it with hot water (it cools rapidly) and put the stained part to soak in that same small bowl for a few hours until it comes out or mix up another batch and try again. The oxygen cleaners are top rated by Consumer Reports and I use them in conjunction with Stain Sticks and Biz.

Then wash with Biz and your normal detergent. I would air dry and check to make sure the stain didn't try to reappear before using the electric dryer next time.

no bleach will kill the colour
You could try the clorox bleach pen. It has a fine point so you can clean just the white part.
What are your instincts telling you on this?? HMMM...Yeah.
On a shirt with those colors you do not want to use bleach as the black color will turn an ugly brown, just try pretreating the spot then wash the shirt in cold water.
look at what it is made of...cotton yes bleach with bleach PEN...if you have no b;leach pen dab some diluted bleach water on a cloth or paper towel and dab the stain..otherwise no do not bleach it,.
I would think color safe bleach would be okay for it. I use that on my kids clothes and it gets out most stains without pretreatment.
No!! Never chlorine bleach! You could put a small drop of diluted bleach onto the stain, but do not let it run into the black or gray. Find a bleaching agent that's safe on colours. You could probably safely use hydrogen peroxide or vinegar; both need to be rinsed out well before you wash. Try dabbbing some liquid laundry detergent onto the stain and let it set for a while. Problem is I don't know what kind of stain you have on that shirt.
