Accident on my carpet HELP!!!!?
Question:Ive spilt red cherryade pop on my lovely green carpet & it looks awful.Ive tried usin the carpet shampooer on it but i crnt get the stain out!Can anyone suggest anything i could use 2 get rid of it?& QUICK b4 the husband sees it!!!Lol!

A teaspoon of White vinager and I think it's a teaspoon of baking soda. Don't rub it in, just let it soak for a min, then blot it off. Hope this does the trick :)
Put baking soda on it and a splash of club soda, use a tooth brush to get the stain out. If that doesn't work, cover it with a smaller decorative rug. God Bless!

If your carpet is synthetic, oxiclean should take the spot out... make a paste of it with water and let it dry, then vacuum it up.
If your carpet is made of wool, you're in worse trouble... the acidity of the beverage will help "set" the stain since wool is a protein fiber. Not sure anything will take it completely out in that case, but dilute the stain as quickly as possible and neutralize the acid with baking soda, and it would be less likely to cause permanent discoloration.
carpet shampooer may have set stain depending on detergent used. best to call a professional.

try and dab it with soda water
