How do I remove diesel smell from workclothes?

Question:

Answers:
Seal up in a bag with several dryer sheets for 24 hours and then wash/dry as normal

Burn them...they will always smell
Since Diesel fuel and water don't mix, you have to use a dry cleaning solvent. Some detergents have degreasing agents, so eventually after several washes, it may disappear, but dry cleaning should remove it on the first run.
add some pine sol to your laundry with your regular soap, I use it on my husbands work uniforms, works great.
Hang them on a cloths line for several hours to air out. Wash in hot water and along with your regular soap add 2 cups of baking soda. If the smell is still present do not put them in the dryer because fumes can ignight flames. Repeat the process again. I did this with my husbands cloths after he changed our fuel pump and was covered in gasoline and it worked perfectly. It should work on diesel too. :)
add some pine sol to them while washing, but do note you might smell like pine sol, but not diesel
