Getting Rid Of Dust?

Question:My house is so dusty and am beginning to get frustrated. In my bedroom under my bed and on the shelves dust just builds up. I clean it every week and vacuum my bedroom nearly every third day but its just gets even more dusty. What can i do to get rid of all the dust?

Answers:
At my house I consider dust a protective coating for my furniture (smile)

Change the air filter on your air conditioning unit monthly. Keep doors and windows closed. If possible, have your venting system cleaned.
use a vacume with a hepa filter. and try changing the type of air filter you use in your air/ heater system. also a good quality room air cleaner will help.
clean really well like it sounds you have been doing. try using anti-static materials/sprays. try dusting plastic items with dryer sheets, they will help repel dust from collecting on them. once you have everything cleaned, change your air filter in your central air/heat. if you don't have central air, consider getting a air purifier.
Very simple, get rid of all your carpets and unwanted cloth in your house.Mob the floor very day.
First off you live in an old house. I wish you luck. that is one of the downsides to an old house..keep your windows closed.and if you live near a busy road there is no hope but to dust the areas that upset you most everyday..
Use Pirrella Fan Sleeves, They attract dust.
