Ew pit stains?
Question:I have a uniform for my job and the white t-shirts have old pit stains on them from previous wearers. How do I get rid of those, quick and easy? And please don't answer unless you really know of something! Thank youuu

Tough one. Most likely it's anti-perspiring stain not sweat stain...If the stain is yellow or green in color and has a crunchy or crispy texture, it’s due to perspiration. If the stain, however, is white or clear with a greasy texture, it’s due to the antiperspirant and should be treated as a grease stain with the appropriate solvent. Look at your care guide from your washer or use SHOUT or something else for grease stains.
Although it’s counter-intuitive, chlorine bleach is one of the worst things you can use to treat perspiration stains, even on white cotton fabric. The chlorine in household bleach will react with the proteins in the perspiration and cause the remaining stain to darken even further. You thought the pale yellow stains gave you pause – just wait until your collar and underarms are almost mustard in color!
For true perspiration stains: Start Simple with Detergent--There are so many great liquid laundry detergents on the market today that specialize in treating tough protein stains; the simplest first step in removing perspiration stains is to use liquid laundry detergent. Use one that’s labeled as having oxygenated powders or concentrating in protein-based stains such as food and grass stains. Treat the affected area with full-strength liquid laundry detergent and let sit for 30 minutes. Launder as usual and air dry.
If you suspect both then treat for grease, launder and then use the full strength method.
Good luck!
use tons of bleach!
it should come out!
Bleach will make the stains invisible but God that's gross! Can't they give you new unis?
well im not exacly sure but take a tide to go stick and run through it as much as it takes and then wash it in hot water
First off im sorry eww...
I would ask them for new ones if that dosnt work..
turn the washer on and let it fill up with warm water add your detergent & bleach!
then take some detergent ( i like liquid) and rub it and scrub it on the stains with like a brush then add a little bleach directly to the stain (cut it with some water) scrub scrub scrub
then toss them in the wash and let them soak in there stop it so it dosnt start washing it (like pull the knob so the water just sits there
after a little while push the knob in and let it wash it...
check them out if its still the same repeat
although if they were dried before you got (which they probably were) the stain is already set and probably wont come out you could always try the dry cleaner
but i would try and get new ones
Best of luck!
Are the shirts cotton? If so, the yellowing is probably not staining but the cotton fiber is beginning to deteriorate. When cotton fiber has been adversely affected, it turns yellow. Most likely the chemicals from someone's deodorant affected the cotton.
Still, you might try Oxy-Clean. Oxy-Clean is an optical brightener and works by making the fiber reflect more light. When the fabric reflects more light it appears whiter and brighter.
I would try dish soap. Scrub it in really good and then wash and repeat until gone.
id try dousing it in bleach or oxy clean. or maybe just smother it with love.
