I clean windows in the morning and by the afternoon when the sun has broke through, the windows has streaks?

Question:Oh ye, I just started a window cleaning buisness! So basically, the windows are spotless when I finish and then when the sun comes out, streaks everywhere?
Help!

Answers:
I know what you are talking about. It is because, if you have the air conditioning on in a house or building...pretty much cranked down cold during the night, like most of us (and ALL businesses do, especially during the summer), even IF you cleaned the windows the night before or in the morning (when it was cool), then when the sun comes up, or shines on those windows, it heats the glass up on the outside, yet, on the inside the glass is cold, because of the airconditioning inside. This creates condensation on the outside (because of summer heat and humidity) and creates streaks. It is like a cold glass of water sitting out on a table on a hot summer day. Lots of dripping water on the outside of the glass! It took me a long time cleaning my windows before I figured this out. EVERY MORNING on those french doors...STREAKS! There isn't much you can do about this on windows in the summer that get an east or west exposure, especially if they aren't shaded at all. The temperature of the inside air is the main problem so if you are cleaning windows for businesses, you can probably figure most of them are going to want to keep their spaces cool for their customers so you are not going to be able to get around this problem, even though, you HAVE done your work and you are NOT responsible for what the windows look like after you have cleaned them. Maybe try to only clean North or South facing windows?

Yikes a business!

You might not have enough, but wiping with newpapers leave your windows clear and shiny. I guess the thing you have to do is wipe up the fluid before it dries especially in hot places which requires more of your cleaning fluid and wiping it up faster.
I have heard that Newspapers, and also vineger works good.
go across on one side of the glass and up and down on the other. this will help you to see streaks. also ammonia and vinegar - one cup of each0 added to a bucket of water does the best job of cleaning glass. wipe on with a clean soft rag (diapers) and wipe off with newspaper. be certain that you are wiping until all moisture is gone. if the glass is left the least bit damp it will streak.
hope this helps
