I spilled an entire bottle of Head and Shoulders onto/into my fabric passenger car form over the summer. I realized yesterday its still tacky, and when I poured hose on it and it became very sudsy. I poured on later sponged up a gallon of water, but the seat still have that soapy residue.
Answers: Pour some extra strength white vinegar on it and soak it up. Might take a few applications.
You could rent a rug doctor with the attachments and steam verbs it using hot water and vinegar.
