I have plastic plates and containers that have mold on them. how can i get rid of the mold?

Plastic is notorious for collecting bacteria. Bleach and Water will work. However I would suggest getting rid of them and purchase glass ones instead. My cats were using plastic dishes and got acne b/c of the bacteria in the plastic
