I have a very old bathtub..porcelain is gone how do i clean it?

I had the same problem,

I went to home depot and bought this stuff that you spray on your tub, like $40. I forgot the name but its like tub and sink, porcelin renew.

the directions were simple, wash the tub as best as you can, then use steal wool then rinse appy the paint and do this again and again.

My tub looks brand new. Also, under the porcelin on my tub was fiberglass, this hurt my kids bottom, after I did this, no more hurt.
