Answers:
is it white!? if so, use a tooth-whitening toothpaste [NOT aquafresh stripes!] and a nailbrush to scrup away the marks

you could get a cover they sell them alot of places it just goes over top of the old porclein or whatever kind of material you have and itslike a new tub!!
Here's a cheap idea - ignore it!
lemon juice. the one they sell in the green bottle and don't dilute it.
I would do this-get some bleach and oxypowder. If the tub is stained already, don't worry about preserving it,you just want it clean.Fill the tub with hot water, pouring in a few capfuls of bleach as you go.Then sprinkle in about two cups of oxy powder and let it soak for a while.Afterwards, you can use any multi-purpose bathroom cleaner to finish up the job,and make sure you have a nice clean tub to bathe in.You can repeat the soaking technique as necessary! Hope this helps!
how about filling bath with boiling water, lots of bleach and leaving over night?
try filling it up with water and add a bottle of vinegar, if that don't work Thick bleach just let it soak either way.
Def cold water either way.
If its pitted, it will be harder to clean. Try filling with warm/hot water and as much bleach as you can tolerate the smell of. Let if sit overnight then drain. If it is pitted, take a soft scrub brush and scrub it down before rinsing it out. Hopefully the bleach will have loosened anything that is in the pitted areas. Be sure to wear gloves as the bleach will irritate the skin. HTH
there is a special enamel you can paint on the bath tub to refinish it. it'll make it look like new, but some leases do not allow any sort of repairs or changes. the website below suggests using a polish.
To remove a tough stain in the bathtub fill a small, shallow cup or dish with cream of tartar and add hydrogen peroxide drop by drop until you have a thick paste. Apply to the stain and let it dry. When you remove the dried paste, you'll find that the stain is gone too.

To get yellowed enamel looking like new use a mixture of salt and turpentine.

Use a mix of lemon juice and flour, spread on the paste, leave it overnight and wash it away. Cleans off almost anything.
I had the same problem years ago and found a product called Zud next to the comet cleaners and stuff like that. I filled the tub with hot water and sprinkled the whole can in and let it sit over night. My tub was beautiful the next day. I have heard that powered laundry detergent works too but not as well.
There is a product called "CLR" that removes rust stains, iron stains from water etc.I'm sure it will remove the hair dye.
Comes in a grey plastic bottle you will find in hardware depts.such as at Wal-Mart etc.
Above all,DO NOT mix any chemicals together.Very dangerous to do so.Causes toxic fumes etc.
Soft Scrub, degreaser and a scrub brush is all you need. Small bow and mix soft scrub and degreaser and apply with brush in a circular motion. Let stand for about 5 min and agitate with some degreaser. Then rinse and repeat if needed.
try cillit bang if that doesnt work ime sure b&q sell enammel paint for baths.
