Wat gets sharpie marker off the pages of a book?

Question:i wrote my name on the side of the book, where the pages are, with a sharpie. is there anything that's not to expensive to get it off?

Answers:
Sorry but NO... cover it with white-out!

nothing will a sharpie is a permant marker.
The only thing that may lighten it a bit is using a Q-tip and nail polish remover (with acetone).
rubbing alcohol
a generous application of white out.
nothing
no, it says permanent for a reason
There's nothing you can do now. A sharpie is a permanent solution. It's not made to come off, especially on paper. Sorry.
Sharpie doesnt come out of paper. Sorry
ok,.. I dont know if this will work, but it doest appear as though anyone else has a better solution so try a Mr. Clean "Eraser",.. these things work GREAT,.. I use them on everything. The best way I can describe them as a small scale (very fine) sander. They're only a few dollars at the most and it took the permanent marker from my four year old, off the walls quickly and effortlessly and didnt damage the paint. You might want to moisten the sponge with a little bit of rubbing alcohol.
There is Sharpie marker remover. Type in sharpie marker or go to office store.
Try a Tide Pen. You know those pens used to fix a stain on your shirt.
