Most carpet shampoos are not worth the money you pay for them, they often have dissapointing results. The best stain remover for carpets is good old Ariel powder. Add powder to hot water and whisk, using only the foam on a damp cloth, work into the carpet, leave for ten mins and repeat then wipe with damp cloth and hoover when dry.
you can get bottles of carpet shampoo just mix some of it in a bucket of warm water then scrub the carpet then let it dry

Make a paste of Bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water apply leave to dry vacuum
i tried removing coffee stain off carpet b4 by pouring hot water on the stained area and stacking a load of newspaper on top. You might need to repeat the steps if the u do not get all the stain off at once. Haha~ Sorry, i know u r talking about totmato soup, well, just in case everything fails and my methods is cheap~ haha~ Cheers ; )
