There is a product called Nature's Miracle available at Petco and Petsmart, etc. It is made of enzymes that break down urine odors. Works fantastic! When I had a puppy it took all the odors out of the carpet and everywhere else he peed. I also put some on my niece's mattress after she wet the bed. It removed all the stain and odor, I just poured some on and let it dry naturally. Try it!

You must get a cleaning product that is designed for urine. If you use just any old cleaning product, it will actually "set in" the stain and odor. If you can't get to the store to buy what you need, you can try a home remedy of white vinegar and water. Make a 1/2 and 1/2 solution, which means, if you use 1 cup of water, mix w/1 c of vinegar. Do not pour directly on your mattress or else it will just take the stain deeper. Use a spray bottle and saturate the area of the stain. Make sure the area dries completely before you put your bed sheets back on. You might find that when you spray it down, it stinks worse, but as it dries, the smell will dissipate. You can always repeat the procedure if there is any lingering odor.
