For the last couple of days I have been going out and NOT coming home smelling like an ashtray.?
Question:This is very strange normally I come home from a night out stinking like an old ashtray. Since Sunday I have been going out to pubs clubs casinos betting shops cafes train stations and not coming back home stinking like a dirty old ashtray. Why is this please. Thank you. (I do hope this continues)

Glad it's now in England too, we've had it in northern ireland for a while - I can now take the kids out to bars/restaurants for food and not feel like Im giving dirty looks to people for lighting up near my kids.
The bars do go through a period of smelling like crap in between the smokey/clean phase, but now they smell lovely!

I think that is fab and you non smokers do not deserve to smell of our second hand smoke, I am so for the ban even though I smoke (not a great deal though)

i do smoke i must admit the pubs and clubs smell so much better being to ireland loads
yeah it's great. we've had the privilege in Ireland for a number of years.
I don't have to wash clothes I've only worn for a few hours now. I wake up with a sore head from alcohol, and it's not made worse, by the stink of cigs from my hair etc.
You'll all wonder how you put up with it for so long.
The next step is smokers wont even smoke in their own home, as it'll be the only place that stinks.
Maybe you are used to the smell and can't tell the difference anymore.
so you came home stinking of alcohol,take care you my end up a alcoholic.the demon drink will catch with you.
i bet you drink alcohol (in unlimited amount) and gamble

All we need now is for care home workers to be able to come home not smelling of cabbage and urine....
