How can i get rid of static without dryer sheets?

Question:help i started to dry something and i realized i dont have any dryer sheets. how can i avoid static?

Answers:
do you have regular softener? If so wet a wash cloth and put some on it and dry with your clothes. If not,you can spray hair spray on dresses to get the cling down...

Take the clothes out while they are still a teeny bit damp, and spread out or hang up to finish drying the last bit.
you could purchase some of those laundry balls that you put into your dyer. Just throw both of them in and its suppose to keep the static and wrinkles out of your clothes. You can buy them off t.v. products or at almost any major retail store(walmart) or what ever is in your town. I have a set and i save lots of money not purchasing dryer sheets. they are called anit=static balls for dryers, items can be found on (as seen on tv) web site. Good luck.
a little vineagar in the wash water or put some on a wash cloth and put it in the dryer
use the Downy ball with liquid fabric softener in the washer.
A 1/2 cup of vinegar in your wash.

It is a good fabric softener as well.

There is no vinegar smell to your clothes.
