Have you ever used Oxi-clean? Did you like the results?
Question:Is it safe to use on colors? I hate having to use chlorine bleach to get mud and grass stains off colored pants. Color safe bleach doesn't seem to cut it. Is there anything else that works really well?

I cut my arm at work and didnt realize it. I had blood down the side of my jeans. Didnt leave work for a few hours. The next day I scrubbed some oxi-clean into it and it was gone. :) Its good stuff.
I have used it and have never had a problem with it.
It is safe. My friend has used oxi-clean and said it is the best smelling and best cleaning detergant he's ever used
I was recently alerted to Oxi-Clean by another YA participant. I was delighted and surprised at how well it works. It's safe for both whites and colors. Use it as you would bleach.
Mud and grass stains. Make a small paste using warm water and Oxi-Clean. Rub into the afected areas. Let it soak in warm water for at least 2 hours or as the directions state. Then wash as usual. It should do the trick for you.
my wife uses it on my work clothes and it gets mud and grime out of them good. i think she pretreats them though.
Yes Oxi-clean works great in the washer. I just had a horrible coffee stain on a white shirt and I thought it was ruined. Added some Oxi-clean to the load with the normal laundry soap and let it soak for while, the stain is gone.
I've used it in my driveway to remove oil stains and it works great on your deck to clean or pre-clean for staining.
Oxi-clean gets a big thumbs up from me.
I might even use it on my kids to wash their mouths out, lol. j/k

Actually, just this past weekend, I used it on a carpet stain of mustard and ketchup. The stain is gone now!
For regular laundry, Oxi works but, that's quite a high price point for just using in the everyday washing...
I like Amaze or Arm & Hammer washing soda...it brightens without draining the colour...
I used Amaze on my babies clothes, it gets squash and spaghetti out, if treated right away! Seriously, when I give a baby shower gift, I always include a box of Amaze...

It works really well on colors and real odoriferous clothes, jeans with car grease, clothes with fish stench.
I did not like it. Even with extra rinsing it gave me an itchy red rash. I also was not impressed with it's cleaning. I have heard that many people have an allergic reaction to this.
