I found a small rubber mushroom like item on my floor and I wonder if it is some type of mold?

yeah we had one of those in our bathroom when we moved into our home i dont know if its the same one but it was like long like a brussel spout with a small rubber like white head. we just pulled it out bleached the floors underneath the lenolium and replaces the floor.anything like that growing ur house is probly toxic that what i was told.becareful.
Yes, more than likely. I had found one growing once, and found out that something was leaking (it was near the bathroom). Look around you for anything that may be leaking, it appears to grow when something remains wet. Check the carpet, and/or flooring, and the walls.
