How do I get a under-rug yellow stain off of the bathroom floor?

Question:I've just updated my bathroom decor and noticed that the previous rugs left light yellow stains on the linoleum! Can I clean this or will the floor have to be replaced?

Answers:
If its a sunny room the discoloration will likely lighten by itself. Its common to get that yeloowing when something has been covered up. Try mopping the floor with a bit of bleach in the water to get it started.

You can't. It is the glue on the bottom of the floor that is causing it. It is basically discolored from the bottom side up. The only option is to replace it or just keep it covered with the rugs.
