How Do I Clean My Shoes..They are filthy?
Question:Ok..my shoes are All Star Converse and I had a rough day out unexpectedly...They are really dirty..i need advice on how to clean them properly without damaging them!!

Well, I can tell you how to get the rubber looking like new.If you take an old dish towel and pour nail polish remover on the cloth and then go over the rubber of your shoes they will be white again. I've even used it on the leather of my daughter's Keds and it makes them look great.
Buffing ur shoes with banana peel and then wiping with cloth,give ur shoes a natural shine!Try it.
Put them in the washer without the laces, wash those by hand. Remove them and shape them, let them air dry.
Don't do the banana peel thing. That's not for canvas shoes. I would soak in a sink w/ hot water and woolite-type cleaner. Make sure to air dry and form the shoe when wet - meaning don't let it dry in a little lump, pull the tongue out, spread the sides, etc. It will shrink a little, but will stretch out with wearing them.
i use spray and wash on mine and take a old tooth brush and scrub them with it and then put them in the washer. i was my flip flops like that also works great !
