How do i clean dirt off velvet?
Question:I have a velvet picture box with dirt smudges on the top. Any ideas of how i could clean it off?

Remove light or small stains using a small washcloth. Wet the cloth slightly with warm water. Take the cloth and very gently rub the stained area using an up and down motion. Rubbing too hard can damage the nap of the fabric. Rub the area two or three times with the cloth then take a paper towel and dab the fabric to remove the water
try a damp lint free cloth like a cloth baby diaper and rub gently good luck!!
Vacuum first then us a solvent.
you hit it off. like take a cleaning hand broom and smack it. or you can shake it up.
