How do you get white socks white again?
Question:Need to get white socks really white again. They are stained with outside dirt.
Answers:
Oxy clean. It's like bleach, but not as concentrated. Follow the directions, though. Also, make sure you only wash them with only whites, any other colors on your clothes can get white spots.
Thats the million dollar question. That happend to every pair of socks i have. If I were you just clean them with bleach, even though it won't be that clean it will be some what clean it still helps. If your going somewhere where you want clean socks buy some new ones.
I use bleach. Put the normal detergent into the washer tub, and add a cup or two of bleach, then add the load of socks. They should come clean.

just trash them, or make a puppet .new socks are so cheep just get a new pack and with the time you save not stressing on fixing the old ones get yourself a nice drink at starbucks. way more fun way to spend a day...
Soak for half an hour in nappie san oxy. , or scrub with sard wonder soap.
Hi:
Fill your washer with HOT water, add in your detergent and then 2 scoops or OXI-Clean. Mix the water so it dissolves and then add in your whites.
Turn washer on for 10 minutes, off so they can soak 1 hr, on for 10 minutes, etc... Then let soak with lid cloased over night.
Washer cycle in the morning, then I wash again just because they have been soaking in gross water over night.
Your whites should now be white and not off white, gray, stained... It works for me all the time.
