Removing stained ink from bed sheets?
Question:a marriott hotel worker told this 54 yr young m that hairspray does the trick ...is this a myth n if not when to apply .obviously before doing a laundry but any suggestions on this wood be helpfull ,to a successfull man with severe rheuomotoid arthritis, which causes me to watch tv in the bed to often and doing buisness work with my p e n . kind of dumb question but such is life

Yes, aerosol hair spray dissolves ballpoint ink. Was told to do this back in 1978 to get ink out of the pockets of nurse's uniforms. It works.
Hairspray does work. Also, try Oxiclean it works as well.
OK. The Marriott Hotel worker is 100% correct. hairspray does do the trick and it won't damage your material trust me I use hairspray to remove just about anything that has ink in it and it works! Also this sound weird by my friend used Windex (the window cleaner) on everything and it works for her! So hope that helps!
hairspray does work, but it has to be aerosol hairspray, something with the propellent helps to dissolve the ink..after spraying scrub a bit and then wash
