What is the best way to make dust stick to a dust mop?

I slighty dampen the mop. It will pick up the dust w/o leaving much mosture on the floor.

I made the mistake of using pledge and almost broke my neck--makes your floor slick as snoot. There are sprays in the cleaning aisle of the store that you can get for a dust mop. Or try a bit of Fabreze or all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle. Even Windex would work.
