Rubber gloves?
Question:when i was younger i worked in a kitchen restaurant as a general dogs body. after a few months my hands whare a total mess because of the washing up. to save my hands a started to use rubber gloves when doing the general washing up/cleaning. since then i've always used gloves when doing the washing up/cleaning at home. surely i'm not the only guy who does this? are you other males just affraid to admit that you wear them? girls, do your hubby's/BF's use them? surely i'm not the only one?
since i was working in that kitchen i've now got a thing in my head that says i must wear them to do dishes. is this normal. i do get a wee bit of stick for it. (especially from my wifes dad)
is it acceptable for a guy to wash up wearing rubber gloves?

do not listen to any one?you are doing the correct thing looking after your hands,you need your hands to live,and when you are older it will pay off as you have protected them all these years,Evan your hands will look younger,and less wrinkles?two things we should protect our hands and face?no you cant put rubber gloves over your face but moisture protection and your hands need this too saving them getting all dried up,keeping your hands soft your wife will appreciate them too,women hate rough hands,never mind your father in law,he probably does not do the dishes anyway?or does he?take care,and keep wearing the gloves.

Dont worry about it ive just put my hand in hot water ,,,,, Then thought hang on ive got rubber gloves so i put one on ,,,,The water wasnt so hot ,,,If girlfriends father dont like it let him do washing up ...Make sure he has hooooot water .
My b/f just walked in the room and he read ur question he said ur smart for wearing them hes 23 yrs old and he a contractor so he also uses them when doing jobs and working at home.and im 21 yrs old and i think its good to use gloves u dont want chemicals getting into ur skin.Keep using ur gloves even if u r just washing the dishes.
Why does your father in law's opinion matter? You know how to protect your hands, let him wash up if he's so keen to judge.
One of my male neighbours even wears goggles when he's doing his DIY - what's more he's careless about anyone else's opinion about him. Good on 'im I say. (I've seen him in rubber gloves too)
Dude I wear rubber gloves everyday for household jobs. My wife and i use them mainly in the bedroom though. They feel incredible!
