I have stains on some vintage pillowcases that I purchased...it is the yellowing of the fabric...?

Question:I have heard of a product that you can buy and it will remove all of the old stains...Can anyone help?..I may be wrong but it seems that it was something that you purchased in the baby dept. that is used to take milk and other baby stains out...Help.

I am the Executive Housekeeper at a hotel. I come across this periodically...and this is what I do. FIRST I try a mixture of a laundry rust remover and water. I spray it on let it sit then launder. I suggest hand washing since they are old pillow cases. Or you can use Oxy Clean or peroxide. The straight peroxide works better. I use straight the peroxide it will bubble on the stain! then I soak in a solution of 1/2 gallon of water and the bottle of peroxide. Takes stains out fast! I hope this works for you!

Good Luck!

yes most likely i have seen that happen before..once my showed me that you can use lighter fluid to remove stains..but you have to be careful about then putting the item in the washer or dryer ...it should be hand washed after...my favorite thing for taking out stains is the really cheap shaving cream for men barbisol..this stuff takes off hair dye i don't know whats in it but its amazing
