Just use a soft cloth..you can use windex..but not paper towels they will scratch it...no comet bon ami cleanser doesn't scratch..but i would stick with liquid cleansers such as orange glow.that should do the trick

There are several products in the market for this very purpose, usually available in supermarkets or hardware stores. It's soft creamy substance that has a very fine grit in it, sort of like brass polish.
the cheapest and best way is a tube of flouride toothpaste and a tooth brush. it works wonders and if u have super stubborn stains sears makes a good cleaner called cook top cleaning creme for smooth top ranges. i use this for stubborn stains..
First I use warmwater and soap, to take of the spillage. Then I use a glass cleaner, Windex, or one of those. You could also use Softscrub. Wipe clean, then wipe with plain water until it has no stains, nor cleaner left on the surface.
Buy the cleaner specifically designed for the ceramic stove tops. It's a little pricey from appliance store, but most of them carry it in small bottles. Or you can get a larger bottle for about half the price at like Walmart or someplace similar.
My stove book suggests using a single edge razor blade to skim off any big glommy messes, first.

anyway i guess it would clean easer if you heated it up some,this will help get the grease warm so you can wipe it up faster
I bought the special cleaner that is made for cleaning them but have found that making a paste of baking soda and water works much better and it's a lot less expensive. After you have rinsed all of the baking soda off, let it dry them use a product like Windex to make it sparkle. Baking soda also gets stains off of counter tops and can basically be used to clean about anything, Just be prepared to do a lot of rinsing and then use the windex to make sure surfaces don't look dull .

They have special cream that you can buy in a plastic bottle .
You cannnot just use any old thing , it will damage it.
You can find it in the hardware stores near the cleaning section and it will show a picture of a stove with a glass top .
The best is spray car wax, the kind that gets hazy and then u buff it off. Gaurenteed to be the best
