Towels still not soft and fluffy i tryed softner /hung them out to dry to .but there still the same?

cold cycle and conditioner
Hello, may sound weird, but use about a cup of vinegar in the rinse cycle, the smell washes out by the time you dry. Just place them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. Don't use liquid softner, or they will not be absorbant. I have heard that this is what hotels use. It works great for me. I also only use 100% cotton.
Soak them in Oxy and hot water to eliminate the accumulated soap, use your softener and tumble dry them, then see if they aren't fluffier.
tumble dry them, it works for me
if you have a tumble drier do them in that it works for me every time
Wash them on a cold water cycle , this will soften them up
Towels hung out to dry are always stiff. If you have to hang them outside, for a little while, then finish drying them in the dryer, with a dryer sheet, they'll be soft. Add liquid softener to the final rinse water also.
I hate hanging towels out on the line for that very reason.
I tumble dry them.
I have heard of putting vinegar in the wash too.
Tumble dry then if possible.
If you don't have a tumble dryer rub the fibres of the towel together, this will release them and make them feel softer.
If you use liquid softener only use 1 out of 3 times, any more and towels will lose their absorbency.
You can always try the dryer balls, you can get them at Wal-Mart in the laundry section or place two tennis balls in your dryer. These objects help fluff and evenly dry your towels and blankets. Also, make sure you are taking the towels out as soon as they are done washing. If you are line drying the towels make you give them a swift snap (shake with a snap)before hanging them on the line. Do this again (snapping) about half way through the dry as well as when they are still barely moist.
Hanging your towels outisde (or inside) to dry will always make them stiff, not soft and fluffy. Don't use any fabric softener with them - it makes them less absorbant. Just put them in the dryer on a full cycle, or while still sllightly damp from the line. Also, try using less detergent. Add vinegar to the rinse since it helps get the detergent residue out.
hiya
towels will only come out soft if u tumble dry them...
when they are nearly dry put them in the tumble drier for ten minutes with a fabric softner sheet
If you want soft towels the best way to get them is to tumble dry them. If you dry them on the radiator or on the washing line they go hard
if you have a tumble dryer give them a bast in that on a low heat for about ten mins. if not give the towels a good shake, i'm like you, i don't like wrapping myself up in cardboard after a shower either.
