Is it possible to put trainers/sneakers in washing machines, without damaging it?
Question:Maybe a lazy question, since it is just as good getting a scrubber and washing liquid, but is it possible to put these in washing machines without breaking or slowly damaging it?
And if so, what type of spec washing machine?
Answers:
yes, its okay to put them in there. i always do. it makes your shoes look great! just like you bought them! trust me, they will look good!
yes you may , put the washing machine on gentle should be ok .Rockport "shoe company "now have washable running shoes for about 120.00 can.
yes i do it all the time, i mean washing my trainers and running shoes, as a marine i run 6 days of the week, wheather rain or shine so u can imagine how i abuse my shoes.. when it comes to the washing, i will recommend the settings on your washing machine to cold water and delicate wash and when its done, depending on the type of material of your shoes, if not heat friendly then air dry
i usually put them into a pillowcase then just into the washing machine. i wouldnt advise doing it every week but once in a while wont hurt it i suppose.
I do it all the time but on a gentle cycle. Also another little tip, once they have finished spinning stuff them with newspaper to dry that way they will keep a 'normal' shape
yes. i put my sneakers in the washing machine. i don't put them in the dryer though. it's the heat from the dryer that breaks down the materials in the shoes. i just let them air dry.
