Question:

Answers:
I use hydroflouric acid. You can buy it pretty much anywear cleaning supplies are sold. Ussually labeled "rust remover".
By the way i clean carpets professionally, it has never failed

try vinegar, i use it to remove rust from metal all the time
i would use vinegar or clr.
Look for a product called "wink" Its in a small own bottle in the laundry section.
I just did that a couple of weeks ago. I used undiluted white vinegar. I sprayed it on and scrubbed it with an old toothbrush. It worked like a charm. Once the area dries, the vinegar smell does too.
