Answers:
Yes! When we were buying the LG wash machine, the salesman told us that it would vibrate. We put ours on the second floor (we live in an old house and have a bathroom the size of a small bedroom and no functional basement or room on the first floor). I find the washer to be so much better than a top loader and have become accustomed to the vibrating. A 1 inch rubber mat underneath may help dampen the vibrations (mat available at plumbing supply or home supply store) but it is something that comes with all of the high efficiency front loading washers (my husband does home remodeling and that's what he said about them since he's put them in many homes). The more uneven the load, the worse the vibrating can be but, to me, it is not awful enough to overcome the good and beneficial points of the machine. Plus, it was such a beast to get up the steps, I am not about to do that again anytime soon. Try the rubber mat.
Once you get it level (again) get some small boards and shims and make 'permanent' wood feet the height needed to maintain stability. Place the feet cross-ways behind the foot.
I don't have and LG model but my front loader sounds like and airplane taking off when it goes into the spin. We have had trouble keeping it level too. it helps but it shakes so much. mine is stacker so the dryer is on top making the noise even worse. The rubber mat sounds like a good idea.
