How much does it cost to wash laundry in a typical London launderette?

If you look at prices in London, they appear about the same as US. Where you have to look at is the dollar to pound exhange rate, which is recent years is about double.

Thus a grande drip at Starbucks is $1.55 dollars here, and $1.55 pounds there, but exchanges at about $3.00 when you convert it.

I would imagine a laundromat is about the same, so basically double what you're used to.
