a)mothballs aren't good for you- noxious chemicals and whatnot
b) i left the country for a year and put my car in storage...the caretaker put mothballs in my car to keep away mice, etc. that was almost 2 years ago- my car STILL SMELLS. literally. if i'm in the car for more than 10-15 minutes, I SMELL like mothballs. that's with febreeze, airing the car out, neutralizers, baking soda, and more.
