AQuestion about My Dryer?

Question:Okay my dryer quit drying I think the haeting element went out on it were can I get a new heating element for it and about how much will it cost

Answers:
A common failure is where the cord bolts into the dryer. A 220v. dryer uses 1-110v. leg to run the motor and the other 110v. leg to supply the heating element. I've seen the element leg breakdown at this connection. Unplug the machine and remove the small panel where the cord goes in. Carefully inspect the connections for burnt wires. If this is the case, restore the connections by carefully stripping back the wire to the shiny new part and reattach it solidly to the connection bank. Keep in mind that old filthy dryers account for 10% of home fires.

Before you get a new heating element, make sure the vent is clear. Any appliance store should have or can order a new element. Price varies with the make of the dryer
Make sure it isn't a fuse, first. Check your fuse in your fuse box if you have fuses.

They seem to be the cheapest.
Sounds like your ignitor. I just had this happen and it cost about $100 bucks with labor. the part itself is like $30
