Are there any health concerns relating to the use of scented candles in the house?

Question:

Answers:
I know that there is a concern about the type of wick used in the candle. Many scented candles have a thin thread of lead in them which can cause problems of you use them a lot. American made candles aren't allowed to use the lead wicks so you are safe if you use those.

You could be allergic to some of it. That's it.
Probably not serious, but you could aggrevate an allergy. You can also get a soot build up on your walls and other places if you use the candles too much.
I've only heard that you're not suppose to use candle that have lead in the middle of the wick.
A lot of those scented candles have artificial chemicals to make them smell like your favorite fruit or flower. Combined with the fact that many candles are made with paraffin, a petroleum-based wax, and are artificially colored as well, the potential is strong for possible lung damage. Use beeswax candles; they smell like honey and unless the wax is dyed or bleached, the candles are all-natural. If you want a scent on your candle other than honey, put a few drops of natural essential oils on your candle.
AS LONG AS YOU HAVE SOME VENTILATION U CAN USE ANY KIND YOU WANT, BUT BEESWAX IS THE MOST NATURAL, MADE IN AMERICAN CANDLES SO YU DONT HAVE THE LEAD THAT IS IN THE CENTER OF THE WICK
If there are no allergy issues in the home no, Enjoy the candles.
