Depending on the fabric, then a dish washing liquid should do the trick. Another good one is clean brown paper [Kraft] under and on top of the grease stain and iron with a warm to hot iron. Check how hot an iron you can use on the fabric with the grease stain in it, then set iron accordingly. The brown paper will absorb the grease. Keep doing this and changing the paper til the stain in gone. Good luck!
I use Dawn dishwashing detergent.
rub a small amount of liquid dish detergent into spot, wash as usual. It always works for me.
I agree with Mikey on this one, use the Dawn dishwashing liquid detergent not the foamy one. Just put it on the grease stain rub it in a little and throw it in with the rest of your wash.
I use this product called Grease Lighthing (a spray)...gets rid of grease on anything. It's also pretty cheap and you can easily get it anywhere.
If they are dark clothes,it is hard.Once I just took mine and put them in hot water with sudsy ammonia and washed them. They came clean but my clothes were liter in color,oh well they were clean...
I'm 33 and I use Dawn dish soap to get grease out of clothing.
I have always used just a drop or two of Lestoil. I rub it into the stain, let it sit for a while, then wash as usual. The smell of Lestoil is strong, you may want to run the clothes through a second rinse. I've found this really good for grease stains on clothes that you didn't catch before washing.
