Is it possible to clean windows (real ones), without leaving streaks or smears?

Question:car windows especially.

Answers:
Use a mixture of vinegar and water to wash the windows. Dry with newspaper (the black & white pages only). The vinegar will cut the grease and the newsprint in the paper grabs the dirt.

dry it with newspapers, it will be streak free.
yes, use Windex though...I have always had problems with streaks with every product but Windex.
Try vinegar and a dash of washing up liquid in your water then paper towel to finish.
Dont pollute our earth with those nasty brought cleaners, make your own window cleaner.Add 1/2 cup vinegar to 1 gallon of water, put in a spray bottle and use with newspaper. It is just a good if not better than those brought ones.
Hello 'ambler' :
I liked the way you put 'real ones' in brackets ! Ha, ha !
I 've seen it done ... first hand.
You need two people to get it done right.
Use whatever window cleaner you trust.
While you clean the inside, at the same time, have your helper clean the outside of your window(s).
With warm water vinegar, and news paper. no streaks, just wear gloves ,so you don“t get the dye from the paper on your hands
when cleaning whip in circles. Not up and down only in circles...
use coffee filters or newspapers to dry them. then it will be streak free.
clean one side in a vertical motion and the other end in a horizontal motion then you will be able to see where the smears are and be able to clean then properly
