Does Kenmore make a washer and dryer thats energy efficient?

Wow, to the first person, there is no such thing as an energy efficent dryer, a dryer today uses the same energy as a dryer twenty years ago - dryers are never rated for the kilowatts they use a year, only washers are. However for the washer, a frontload or agitator-less topload unit will be the most energy efficent. Kenmore-Sears don't acutally make anything they just buy it from whoever will sell it to them and then put their name on it. So if there are any brands you don't like you may want to check and see what brand it actually is. Most kenmores are made by frigidaire or whirlpool. The he3 is a whirlpool -

yes, i own both a kenmore washer and dryer that is energy star rated, and actually are energy efficiant. i forget now, but i think they were between $450-$600 each. they pay for themselves in a year or two.
Sears doesn't manufacture anything, I'm sure they carry energy star appliances though everyone does.
A Sears Kenmore HE5T series washer & dryer. I have the first model HE3T and I love it. I can only assume the 5T is even better.
They make several models. I have the Oasis washer and a gas dryer.
