What's the best way to get toothpaste stains out of a t-shirt.?
Question:I'm washing my clothes in a bathtube because my landlord won't fix my washing machine.

some of todays toothpastes actually bleach out clothing. Check to be sure that that has not happened to you, then rub detergent directly onto the spot.
You're doing it right...hot soapy water. That's all.

Just rub some detergent on it and it will wash out.Soak them clothes for a while or go to a laundry mat..Good luck.
soak your T shirt in laundry detergent in s small tub or pail and rub the stained spot with your hands.
I'm not 100% if this would work for toothpaste stains because I've never tried it but I use a product called Thieves and it has gotten rid of other stains that I've had in my clothes before. Well, toothpaste is a kind of soap, so I would just run it under some running water and rub it together. If that doesn't do it, try some of your regular laundry soap, and again put it between your two hands and rub it together. As far as your landlord goes, ask him if you can get it fixed and just deduct it from your rent.
I would pretreat the toothpaste stain with Oxi clean and it tells you how to on the bucket. Then I'd call the city offices and ask them about renters rights. Your landlord has to fix the washing machine.
Toothpaste will remove a lot of stains- so just try putting it back in the tub with the next load you are stomping clean.
