Oil Stain on 100% ployester skirt?

Question:I accidentaly spilled cooking oil on a 100% polyester skirt. IT is plain, peach colored, no patterns. How do I take it out.?
Label says to dry clean only, my mum says to wash gently with mild soap and water, hang in the sun, the oil and yellow color will come off.
Any ideas?

Answers:
I would take dawn dish soap and rub into the oil stain. let it sit a bit to break down the oil... then run the stain under the warmest water you dare use. then gently wash entire skirt in warm water with cool rinse. and hang dry (not in the sun for long as it can discolor any article of clothing)

Yes your mum is right, mum know´s best
I would agree with mom, I usually use dish soap when it comes to oil on any fabric.
There is some stain remover called Lestoil. You can find it at your local supermarket. I've rarely had a stain it wouldn't remove, and it has never damaged any of my fabrics.
