Help me!!?
Question:Hi guys, i've a problem, please help me out.
I have wall to wall carpet in my house, and my hairs and the hairs of the other persons i the house are all getting entangled onto the carpet. the hairs do not come out even when i do the vacuum. I have to take a brush and brush off all the hairs from the carpet. Is there any way by which i can remove the hairs from the carpet while vacuum or any other easier way?! Because brushing the carpet of the whole house is a laborious process. Help me.
Answers:
There are pet hair removal powders that you can sprinkle on your carpet and vacuum up. It works for me. I use Arm & Hammer, but anything that works for pet hair should work!
I know what you mean. I don't know of a simple way, but an effective way is with duct tape. It is time consuming however.
I just removed the carpet from my house and am so glad I did. It was truly dirty even though it had been cared for and vacuumed frequently. I doubt I will ever have carpet again. The wood floors look better to me, feel cleaner and I can put an area rug down for warmth. When the area rug gets bad, I will throw it away and get a new one.
It might be a good idea to buy a hoover that works well. The Dyson is the hoover you need, the only other thing I can suggest is to use Sellotape, but that´s just as bad as having to brush the carpet, I suppose. Best get a hoover that works
Honestly, it sounds like the vacuum's rollerbrush is not getting close enough to your carpet. I've got several dark-haired cats in a house w/ ivory carpeting and my vacuum gets it all up. Find a vacuum that allows rollerbrush height adjustment. I have a Kirby and it's great for this but I don't generally recommend it because of the price. Also make sure the vacuum has enough suction. Most midline models are more than adequate in this category.
And make sure you vacuum regularly. Repeated treading over hair and dirt will work it into the carpeting, making it harder to vacuum out.
