How often should you replace your shower liner?

Question:I tried to wash mine but they are never really the same so I usually just buy new ones. But I was wondering how often should this be done? The shower in our home gets used several times a day.

Answers:
Get a good cloth liner, a good cloth liner will last you for years. If you have a plastic liner, then every 6 to 8 months will do. But a good cloth liner will wash up really well. I've had mine for almost 3 years now. When I was it, I make sure to use just a bit of bleach, and some detergent, and it washes great.

I wash mine with baking soda and laundry detergent and replace when I feel like it. They look great after this.
One man's shower grime is another man's Yuukkk! Change it when you want to.
I just buy the cheapest liner and then I don't feel bad about throwing it out as often as necessary--like dollar store--
If you have the time, try spraying the liner with a good cleaner (do this with it open) and wait 10-15 minutes or so and then rinse it down with the shower head or attachment. Do this once a week to prevent the dirt and grime build up.
It varies form one person to the next.
I usually end up replacing mine about every 3 months...when it starts looking a bit grungy or gets some of that "pink" mold or whatever that is on the bottom.
To prolong from having to replace it , I spray a mixture of water and bleach on it and wait a few minutes before rinsing.
