For ink stains, my favorite is Expo White Board (dry erase) Cleaner. Just spray it on and throw it in. No need to rub. Works like magic.
For food stains, try rubbing a few drops of full strength liquid dish washing detergent (like Dawn) on the stain just before washing. This is especially great for removing the greasy residue stain that food stains leave behind.
use tide laundry soap-put a little on the stains rub it in a bit let it set for 20 minutes then run it through the washer
try rubbing alcohol
OxiClean. Follow the directions on the tub for diluting guidelines, especially if the stains are organic (blood, wine, etc.). You can now buy this at Target.
