Can a spike comforter be wash contained by a immense washer without risk?

I have a comforter that was my grandmas, and she be a smoker, so it needs to be washed. I lately wasnt sure with it being spike filled if it was undisruptive for the filling to do so.

Answers:    i have a queen sized down comforter that i clean up in a regular machine. its not too super fluffy. but it IS washable. it said that on the case when i got it. i dont know if they all are. it might necessitate to be dry cleaned?

It CAN be... Gentle cycle only. And make sure you dry it at lowest 3 or 4 times. Otherwise, you can get a stinky "bird smell".
