Is there any way to remove the ocean stink from my colored swimming trunks?
Question:I swim in the ocean. I always wash them off with water and even put them in the washing machine periodically but they still stink like the ocean! I don't want to put chlorine or boil them because that will fade the color. Any suggestions?

That may be what you'll have to do... You said you wash them in the washing machine periodically. Make that every time you go swimming. that may help. Don't let them sit while wet. Try adding 1 cup of baking soda to the wash water.
Use an All Fabric bleach and soak them overnight. Works great !!
Soak them in 4 cups water and 1 cup vinegar. Then wash as usual. Hang outside to dry (in the shade to prevent fading).
