Teapot, Thermos and Coffee Pot Stain Removal
To get stubborn tea stains off the inside of the pot (this works great for stainless steel and glass-lined thermoses and coffee pots too) , simply put a cup of bleach in the pot, and swirl around. You will see the stains disappear immediately. Wonderfully effortless, and leaves the pot sparkling clean - like new! Don't forget to wash the pot before using! You can also try washing the dishes with white vinegar to get the stains out.
=)
use a couple of ice cubes and some salt and swish it around...or you can just put vinegar in it and leave it for awhile.
Use soap and water with a bottle brush.
I would use hot soapy water.

Use the stuff that you use to soak false teeth. Efferdent? or similiar. Just put water in and add a couple tablets and let it sit for a day or so. I use that stuff to get coffee stains out of cups and it works great!!
Soap, water and a bottle brush.
With a baby bottle brush...works great
use much salt and a small amount of water to make a slurry like wet concrete and shake the heck out of the thermos. then rinse with fresh water and bleach. then rinse again. If not clean repeat the process.
I don't know how dirty yours is, but I just put a little baking soda in it with some warm water and shake it up for a few seconds. It works for me.
i always used 1/2 cup bleach, and fill the rest with water... let it sit a while, and it's good as new
